By now I’m sure that most of my readers know that walking is a great way to lose belly fat. So for those that are already walking away their belly fat, here is a tip on how to spice up your walks a bit.
A perfect way to up the results from your ordinary walks is to change up your speed in intervals. So begin your walk as you normally would. After 5 minutes shift gears and go into a brisk walk. 3.5 to 4 MPH is a good pace. I know how do you know what speed your walking at. That pace would be as though you were hurrying to an appointment. Your should be breathing harder by now.
After 1 minute you kick it up another gear. You should be at a slow jog now for 30 seconds. After your 30 seconds you shift into low and go into a walk again. You walk for 5 minutes at your regular pace and than start the cycle over. Continue this cycle for the duration of your walk, however long it is that you walk for.
This type of training is called interval training and if you just change up your speeds throughout your walk it will not only give you better results than just walking but it will add a little jest to your walks. Especially if you walk alone. So if your tired of the same old regimen, I suggest you give this a try and watch how much faster you lose that belly fat
