Researchers at Brigham Young University say “Eat More Fiber”. In a study conducted of 252 women who ate 8 additional grams of total fiber for every 1,000 calories they consumed lost nearly 4.5 pounds. Every gram decrease in your total fiber intake can result in an average weight gain of more than 1/2 pound.
You can sneak in those extra grams of filling fiber daily by adding a cup of rasberries to your yogurt or cereal, or throw in 1/2 cup of lentils into your favorite soup or salad.
